You call it "a case of the Mondays", I call it my "A Game"
Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 6:32AM This blog has suddenly becoming series of introspective posts on what makes me tick. The last post used a page from a comic book to explain my impatience. And now the BBC reports on a study that claims grumpy people actually think more clearly.
This.
Explains.
So.
Much!
Let's break it down. Grumpy people....
- Are better at judging urban myths - I'm always the first to scold someone for sending some fake chain e-mail
- Make fewer mistakes - Everyday is a flawless victory for me
- Are better communicators - Um, let's stick to the written word and not spoken for this one
The list goes on, but the story stays same. Never shall I feel guilty and concerned when someone tells me I am in a bad mood. I will embrace. For it helps me maintain my mental superiority.
About the only point in the article I disagree with is the use of the term "Eeyore days". Eeyore is neither grumpy nor brilliant. He was a depressed, potentially suicidal stuffed donkey. If the author of the article was grumpy, perhaps he would have been thinking more clearly and would have selected a more relevant fictional character.
